Therapy with me is a structured yet flexible process that is both safe and challenging. I work with individuals experiencing complex trauma, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, anger and aggression, men’s issues, and performance-related concerns, including those in sports and high-functioning professions. Many of the people I work with manage their daily responsibilities well but feel stuck in persistent emotional patterns, distress, or unresolved trauma. My approach isn’t about quick fixes or symptom reduction—it’s about creating deep, lasting change by addressing the root causes of distress, not just managing them.
Why I Use IFS & EMDR
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) because they go beyond traditional talk therapy. These approaches help access and heal the deeper roots of distress, rather than just managing surface-level symptoms. IFS allows us to explore different parts of yourself with compassion, helping you move from self-judgment to self-understanding. EMDR works directly with stored trauma, reprocessing experiences that still impact you today, so you no longer feel emotionally stuck in the past. Used together, these therapies create meaningful shifts that are felt, not just intellectualised.
