Experience
Azaan has provided psychological services to adolescents and adults in various settings, including headspace, schools, public health and private practice. He possesses expertise in working within NDIS and WorkCover schemes and has leadership experience as an executive manager and clinical supervisor for mental health services.
He has supported athletes, coaches and support staff as a former member of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) mental health referral network and continues to work alongside sporting organisations.

Within private practice Azaan has primarily worked with complex presentations, including; complex trauma, personality disorders, substance use, obsessive compulsive disorder and severe anxiety and depressive illnesses.

Prior to his career in psychology, Azaan pursued studies in Law, obtained certification as a personal trainer, and dedicated over 20 years to training in Kyokushin Karate. Outside of his professional endeavors, Azaan finds enjoyment in cricket, parenting, cooking, and immersing himself in the great outdoors.
